Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeetha is a premier body constituted under the Societies Act to oversee and administer educational and cultural institutions, with the objective of making education accessible to the common people, especially in rural and remote regions. The institutions under its purview include Medical, Dental, Engineering, Nursing, and Pharmacy Colleges; polytechnics; degree colleges; high schools; primary and nursery schools; and a School of Dance, Drama, and Music. Additionally, it operates several hostels and schools dedicated to the education and care of physically challenged and orphaned children.
