About SJM Campus Haveri
SJM Haveri Campus was established in 1984 under the divine guidance of Shriman Niranjan Jagadguru Mallikarjuna Murugharajendra Mahaswamy, with the introduction of the PU Arts stream to provide quality education to rural and economically disadvantaged students in and around Haveri. The Commerce stream was added in 1988, followed by the Science stream in 2000, expanding academic opportunities for aspiring students.
The Campus is spread over about 3.5 acres and is strategically located in the heart of Haveri city, providing easy access for students. The campus offers a wide range of academic programs under the management of SJM Vidyapeetha Chitradurga, including PUC courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce; undergraduate degree programs such as BA and B.Com; a professional teacher education program (B.Ed.); and a postgraduate program in Commerce (M.Com.).
To support academic excellence, the campus is well equipped with a spacious and well-stocked library and adequately furnished laboratories that provide all the basic and necessary facilities for effective teaching and learning.
The campus provides a safe and supportive environment through CCTV surveillance, purified drinking water, and a clean, hygienic canteen. Regular parent–teacher meetings and alumni interactions are conducted to enhance academic progress and career guidance. Along with academics, we celebrates various events such as students union day, farewell day, festival and cultural awareness days, Independence and Republic Day etc.
The campus actively promotes sports through district-level and University-level Volleyball and Kabaddi tournaments, with many students earning the prestigious University Blue. It also fosters holistic student development through Yoga programs and NSS camps
We empower UG and PG students with value-added diploma and self-employment programs, along with coaching for competitive examinations, designed to boost employability and give them a strong career advantage.
