Sri Basaveshwara Arts & Commerce College and Post Graduation Center stands as a testament to the visionary leadership and unwavering commitment of S.J.M. Vidyapeetha towards the advancement of higher education.

A significant milestone in the institution’s journey was achieved in 2025, when S.J.M. Vidyapeetha expanded its higher education initiatives by establishing the Basaveshwara Post Graduation Center and introducing the M.Com. course on the auspicious occasion of the 151st Birth Anniversary of Sri Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugharajendra Mahaswamiji. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in our goal of academic excellence and holistic development.

Building on this strong foundation, the institution received permission in 2026 to offer undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). With the introduction of these courses, the institution was renamed Sri Basaveshwara Arts & Commerce College and Post Graduation Center, reflecting its expanded academic vision and loyal commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and quality higher education to students from diverse backgrounds.

The college is strategically located in the heart of the Haveri city, within a 10 to 15-minute walk from both the KSRTC Bus Stand and the Railway Station.
